Fredrik Liedberg is a Professor of Urology, Senior Consultant and Team Leader for The Reconstructive and Open Team at Lund University, Skåne University Hospital, Malmö, Sweden. He is also a Specialist in general surgery and in urologic surgery since 2000.
Professor Liedberg was Resident in general surgery and urologic surgery at Växjö County Hospital between 1995-2000. He has also worked as a Consultant in the Department of Urology, at Lund University Hospital between 2000-2006 and was Head of Section of Urology at Växjö County Hospital between 2006-2011.
Professor Liedberg obtained his PhD in 2006 on invasive bladder cancer: aspects on staging and prognosis. He is member of EAU Non-muscle-invasive Bladder Cancer Guidelines Panel and Chairman at Malmö Cancer Center, both since 2020. He has received several awards such as Prize for an Exceptional and Innovative Presentation at the International Sentinel Node Society meeting in Rome in 2006.
