Dr. Manmeet Ahluwalia is the Dean and Diane Miller Family Endowed Chair in Neuro-Oncology at the Rose Ella Burkhardt Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center (BBTC), where he subspecializes in the treatment of brain tumors and brain metastases. He is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, is the Director of the Brain Metastasis Research Program and Head of Operations in the BBTC of the Neurological Institute of the Cleveland Clinic, is the Section Head of Neuro-Oncology Outcomes, is on staff at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute and has joint appointment in the Developmental Therapeutics Program at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Ahluwalia received his medical degree from the Maulana Azad Medical College of the University of Delhi. He completed his residency at Fairview General Hospital and a fellowship training at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Dr. Ahluwalia's research focuses on the development of new therapies for people with brain tumors and brain metastases. He is currently leading several clinical trials involving immune therapy and new targeted therapies as well as treatments targeting tumor blood vessels (angiogenesis) and cancer stem cells. His results have been presented nationally and internationally and have resulted in over 100 manuscripts. Dr. Ahluwalia serves as the Associate Editor on Tumor Section of Neurosurgery for the official Journal of Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS). He is the Associate Editor of The ASCO Post, and is the Section Editor of Neuro-Oncology for HemOnc Today. He serves as a reviewer on multiple journals including Cancer, Neuro-Oncology, Cancer Research, Journal of NeuroOncology, Expert Reviews in Neurotherapeutics, BMC Cancer, Molecular Cancer Research, Expert Review of Anticancer Therapy, Expert Opinion in Pharmacotherapy, and Journal of Neurology & Neurophysiology.

Dr. Ahluwalia has been a recipient of several prestigious awards, such as the National Cancer Institute/ CTEP Career Development Award for Clinical Trial in American Brain Tumor Consortium (ABTC), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Leadership Development Program award, and has been nominated for the Leading in Healthcare award at the Cleveland Clinic.
