Dr Yongchang Zhang is an Associate Professor at Central South University in Changsha, China. His research focuses on lung cancer, with a particular interest in understanding resistance mechanisms for targeted therapies and identifying biomarkers of efficacy and toxicity for immunotherapy.
Dr Zhang is a member of the Cancer Precision Oncology and Oncology Respirology committees of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association as well as a committee member of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology. He is also a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including The Lancet Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, Oncogene, JAMA Network Open, and BMC Medicine, with 50 publications between 2018 and 2021.
