The ABC trial has ruled out the adjuvant use of daily high-dose aspirin for the prevention of breast cancer recurrence in people with high-risk, HER2-negative disease.

Factors associated with a significantly higher ATE risk were antiplatelet use and low-dose (<200 mg/day) aspirin use (aRRs=1.62 and 1.49, respectively).
