Abstract

It is not for the medical historian to give a description of the present state of affairs with regard to mammary cancer or to any other disease for that matter. Contemporary textbooks, monographs and articles, which are certainly not in short supply, will keep the interested reader abreast with the concepts and therapies of the day. For an excellent survey of the developments during the past decade, the reader is referred to a recent publication by Graig Henderson and George P. Cancellos.308
