Beth Eaby-Sandy MSN, CRNP, OCN

Beth Eaby-Sandy is a thoracic medical oncology nurse practitioner at the Abramson Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She has been an oncology nurse for almost 20 years, and received both her RN and Masters of Nursing degrees at Temple University in Philadelphia. She is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and Oncology Certified Nurse. She is a member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) and member of the Nursing & Allied Health committee of IASLC. She is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JAPDRO) and a member of the Advanced Practitioners Society of Hematology & Oncology (APSHO). She is a steering committee board member of the International Thoracic Oncology Nursing Forum (ITONF).

Beth has presented at several national and international nursing and thoracic oncology meetings such as IASLC, Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC), JAPDRO Live, Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) congress, and several other regional and national meetings. She has published in several peer-reviewed medical and nursing journals on the topics of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, dermatologic toxicities of targeted therapies, and the supportive care of patients with lung cancer.
