Beth Sandy MSN, CRNP, OCN

Beth Sandy, MSN, CRNP, OCN, is a thoracic medical oncology nurse practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Center in Philadelphia, USA. 

She has been an oncology nurse for almost 20 years, and is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and Oncology Certified Nurse. 

Her research focuses on issues arising in the management of lung cancer patients including chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, dermatologic toxicities of targeted therapies, and supportive care.

In addition to regularly presenting at several national and international nursing and thoracic oncology meetings, she has published in number of peer-reviewed medical and nursing journals. 

She is a member of the Nursing & Allied Health committee of IASLC and is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology and a member of the Advanced Practitioners Society of Hematology & Oncology.
